History of Atlanta School of Excellence

Founded in 2007, Atlanta School of Excellence is a State of Georgia, licensed Academy that offers an education-based, early childcare program for six weeks to twelve years of age, primarily in low-and-moderate income communities. Nearly eighty-five percent of the children enrolled in our program come from single, female-headed households of Atlanta, GA and receive some form of government subsidy. The program furthers our exempt purposes because it focuses on our goals which are to interrupt the generational trends that plague low-and-moderate income communities by “Achieving Excellence through Young Minds” with our education-based program.

Our guiding principle is to help children master the skills needed to succeed in school and in life, including a strong sense of play! Whether they are looking for a nurturing start for an infant or toddler, a preschool or kindergarten, or engaging after-school experience, you’ll find a well-rounded program at Atlanta School of Excellence.

We strive to serve our community, by offering scholarships for excellent education to Families in Low Income Situations. Our educational programs are designed to prepare our students to test high scores on standardized test at a young age. At Atlanta School of Excellence we believe that your income shouldn’t deprive you of an excellent education.
